Step By Step:

  • Step 1: Use a light color as the base, in this video I used the shade Raw Sienna using the MODERN RENAISSANCE palette right from my lash line up to my brows. This will even out any imperfections and discoloration.
  • Step 2: To create the ‘SMOKEY’ effect, I used Blackjack from the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette and even it out by dapping the color all over my eyelids. It’s okay if it looks smudgy, we will even them all out by blending those colors.
  • Step 3: Using the same palette as you see on the video above, I used the grey shade Magnet, brown shade Lockout and orange shade Extra bitter on the outer corner of my eyelids. Blend, blend, BLEND with your eyeshadow brush or a beauty blender. This is to avoid harsh edges.

I hope this smokey eye inspires you to go outside your comfort zone, so step out of the box and create something unique on your eyes this week.

It’s a perfect look for winter and you are BOUND to turn heads. It only requires 3 or 4 colors (depending on how blended you want the look to be), and they are very neutral colors, so there is a good chance you already have these colors in your charm!
