How To Use:

Remove your make-up and cleanse your skin. Next, smooth an even layer of the face mask onto the face using The Body Shop Facial Mask Brush or any type of brush (for hygiene purposes) – Try to avoid the eye and lip area. Apply to neck if desired and leave for 5-10 minutes until the clay dries. Finish by rinsing off with warm water in circular motions to gently exfoliate. For best results use two to three times a week.

Overall, the entire removal process definitely takes some time.  Even after you re-wet the mask, it still has a pretty firm grip on the skin – it sort of feels like a hard – you can barely smile! Although I’d say my skin is a little on the sensitive side, I felt a light mint-like tingle sensation all over when I applied the mask. Once it dries completely, I didn’t experience any irritation, only some redness from the exfoliation, which disappeared eventually.

Overall, if you’re looking for a purifying mask that will gradually help unclogged those pores but also give you the extra exfoliation in the process, I’d absolutely recommend giving The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask a try.  It’s worth the price!
